Martial arts should be so much more than kicking and punching.  Beyond the obvious physical skills, the martial arts are about character development.  Learning successful life skills as a way of life:  Skills such as self-discipline, respect for self and others, courage, focus, goal setting, commitment, integrity and much more.

Black Belt Martial Arts is the Central Coast’s largest full-time school, which was founded over 20years ago by former Australian champion and former national coach Shihan Liz Mahler.

At Black Belt Martial Arts you can learn Martial Arts  including Karate, Grappling, Weapons, Kickboxing at the best martial arts school on the Central Coast. In recent years we’ve won the International EFC’s Most Outstanding Martial Arts School in Australia Award (2005 and 2006), and in 2006 we received an award for Raising the Standard of Martial Arts in Australia.  Shihan Liz Mahler has previously coached the NSW Juniors and Seniors and the National Juniors Team, as well as Central Coast local talents such as Oceanic Champion Holly Buchanan, World Shotokan Champion Darren Brailey, National champions Angela Jones, Lliam Worthington and Rachael Furi. 

We allow you to train to the best of your ability in a friendly, social environment designed to bring out the best in you. Our programs are suitable for men and women and children of all ages because each class pushes you hard while allowing you to work at your own level.

Our Instructors are fully trained and their experience varies between 4 and 30 years in the martial arts. We are dedicated to providing a friendly safe environment for you to train to be the best martial artist you can be.
