Tips for BeginnersYour first Class

- Turn up to your class 15 mins before it begins.
- When lining up in your class all students line up in rank left to right. (beginners/White Belts stand to the left hand side with the highest belt being on the right.)

Pre-Testing

- When it is pre-test week No1 (Check white boards at your local Studio), and you have at least 7 black stripes on your belt, you will need to fill out a “Progress Check” form. Please hand this form filled out where necessary and hand to the instructor prior to the class starting.
- If successful, you will be given a silver stripe. Remove 7 black stripes off your Belt and replace with the 1 silver stripe.

- When it is pre-test week No2 (Check white boards at your local Studio), and you have at least 7 black and 1 silver stripes on your belt, you will need to fill out an “Intent to promote” form. Please hand this form filled out where necessary and hand to the instructor prior to the class starting.
- If successful, you will be given a silver stripe. Remove 7 black stripes off your Belt and replace with the 1 silver stripe (So you should now have 2 silver stripes making you qualified to graduate on the graduation day).

Graduation

- You will need at least 2 silver stripes to graduate. (Check white boards at your local Studio for Graduation dates)
